We had some fun recently with Cathy Tait, General Manager of the Southern Georgian Bay Chamber of Commerce. She said they're happy to promote their members, and I asked if she could film a mini fashion show video. She said yes, and the rest is history! Our lovely model is our client, Rachelle Miller, who is a nurse at GBGH, in their surgical department. She has no modelling experience, but as you can see, she did a fantastic job and is a natural at it!

We are honoured to partner with Artisan By The Bay, Sylvie Huntley, Alcohol Ink Artisan in introducing our new fundraiser for a very important charity called "Bimbombay Memorial Fund." Here is information from their page, which is on the Huronia Community Foundation website:
"Established by Jane Courtemanche in memory of her son, Duncan, who took his own life after a long and difficult battle with depression. The Fund is named after the family cottage owned by Duncan’s grandparents, Jack and Sheila Courtemanche, and represents a place where Duncan spent happier times when he was young, surrounded by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Duncan loved his childhood summers spent visiting Midland, boating on Georgian Bay, and the unconditional acceptance he felt from his extended family.
The Fund will support initiatives to help youth who struggle with theIr identity and with the transition from school to independence, to give them hope and belief that they will find purpose and happiness in their life. It will also support suicide awareness and prevention initiatives for those who cannot see a way forward.
Duncan was a smart, sensitive and happy child who, as he grew older, faced very challenging mental health issues that took away his happiness, and eventually his life. It is my hope that his Fund will help young people facing this same difficult battle."

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to our newest team member, Cathy Moreau! Cathy is a longtime friend and client, and many of you may already know her from her many years of teaching in our area. Cathy will be assisting us with stock and receiving, and updates on our POS system. She and I shared a good laugh on her first day at work when we unintentionally showed up wearing almost identical outfits!
Our hours of operation are remaining @ Monday - Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
