Wow, winter sure came in with a blast this month and it stopped some of us in our tracks! We recently had an awesome photoshoot with our beautiful client, Lorra and her adorable daughter, Samantha. Lorra is modeling some of our fall and holiday fashions and Samantha jumped in at the end with some gorgeous and touching pics with her mom! All photos are by Stewart Vincent Photography.
We've been receiving a lot of new stock from Joseph Ribkoff's Holiday Collection, and here is a glimpse at some of the styles that are hot off production!
We are hosting an open house on Thursday, December 5th from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. We will be offering spotlight specials that day, and are pleased to have guest artisan, Margaret Robertson join us for the evening. Margaret has been making us upcycled mitts and hats that have been hugely popular with our clients! She is an avid thrifter. She turns fabric, woolens, and even china, into new fashions and other useful items. At our open house, she will be featuring a full line of American Girl clothes and accessories she designed. She makes beaded bracelets and earrings for all ages. Other creations include pincushions made from vintage silverware, sewing kits in a crown jar, fairy doors and more! We will also have some customer favourites for sale from artist and artisan soap maker, Sylvia Tesori of “Three Crows Speak.” I personally have some of her products and they are fabulous!
Note: other downtown merchants will also be open the evening of December 5th.
