$20,000 RAISED FOR CLHFOUNDATION.CA!
Family can come in many ways; one of them being the Community Living Huronia family. When we get together every year to do our fashion show, there are hugs, smiles and warmth all around as we reunite for another evening of acceptance and inclusion of people with exceptionalities. Our 17th Annual Spring Fashion Show in partnership with CLHFoundation.ca showed us once again how a community unites to show how much they care.
Much gratitude to our event partners: Alla Promotional Videos, Chris Pyke, Ciboulette et Cie, daydensalon, Georgian Bay School of Dance, Grounded Coffee Co., Heidi’s Salon, Pur Spa, Sharron’s Boutique Plus, Sunsport Signs, Taylor & Co. Clothiers, and Truffles & Treasures whose dedication and hard work made the show a huge success!

We are so lucky to have a fantastic team of volunteers: Shirley Fielding, Anne Connell, Nadine Goman, Sue Potter, stage manager, Kristi Presse, assistant Megan Mitchell-Downey, our backstage staff and additional helpers, all of our seaters, greeters and servers, Doris Sloan and Susan Cook for emceeing, the Midland and Penetanguishene Fire Departments, and the dozens of dancers and models who gave their time for the show. You all did an incredible job!
Thanks to Lisa Maloney, volunteer co-ordinator and Dave Hamilton of CLH for all of your excellent work in executing this ambitious show and indulging in my vision of “Miami Heat, Latin Beat, Collaborations of Pitbull!’ It was a pleasure working with you again.
Thank you to all the businesses who donated many prizes and services for our auction! With this huge collaborative effort, we raised $20,000 for the school readiness program and the pre-employment program benefiting the children and adults supported by CLH! This was year 5 in partnering with CLH and it is amazing to know that we sold out to 380 people for the fifth year in a row! Thank you all who purchased tickets and have shown your support and love for people with exceptionalities!
