APRIL 2013 UPDATES
Hello! Spring is definitely in the air (on some days!) and what better way to kick off the season than with new fashions and enjoying a great fashion show? First off, we have tons of new arrivals from fresh fx, Tribal, CYC, Joseph Ribkoff, Parasuco, and MICHAEL MICHAEL KORS! Just click on our online catalog and see the newest styles! Next, it's hard to believe our 15th Annual Spring Fashion Show is days away on Friday April 12th at the NSSRC from 7pm - 9pm! It's been a labour of love since the idea was conceived two years ago, and the progress made since our committee started work on this in November 2012. We have had the best support from our event partners, generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers and hard working Community Living Huronia staff, in which all proceeds are going to the CLH Foundation. There are a few $20 tickets available (good view too!) so don't miss out on a terrific evening of fun and fashion. Tickets can be purchased at A Passion for Fashion Inc. only. Also, join us at the BOATHOUSE Eatery after the show for the after party festivities! Here's a review of our show from one of our community members who attended last year:
"After a few weeks and time for the dust to settle, I still think of the effort you put into the Lady Gaga theme, "BORN THIS WAY" evening of acceptance fashion show, that Linda and I attended. The lasting effect of the show, I feel, was to give the clients of CLH, an experience they might otherwise, never experience, and showed all in attendance, that inclusion, and acceptance is not only great for CLH clients, but also leaves a lasting positive attitude among the audience, that will radiate out into the community, ongoing. This passion that you bring to the community is born from your own acceptance, and love of family and community. You were not born this way, you grew this way. Your own attitudes and energy, born from acceptance, and love of family, are gifts you bring to your community, and should to be celebrated accordingly. Never lose your passion. We wish you continued success in all that you do." - Bob Bennett
And one last time before the show, our poster and everyone involved with the event:
See you soon! Nancy, Bill, Rita, Sharon, and Nicole (PLUS, K and Cassii are coming home to help with the show!)
