Had the most horrible experience today. My most favorite place of grocery shopping let me down. This morning I shopped for my business and spent 200.00 all good! Later I want back before noon and spent 400.00 personally. There was only one cashier open that could accommodate me with wine. The cashier was young but friendly. However she didn't offer to help me bag. I am 61 yrs. However the lady behind me had a smaller order and was annoyed that I couldn't get out of her way fast enough...mean while the cashier packed three bags for her. The customer behind me was annoyed that I was taking so long and she had to go around me. Meanwhile the cashier continued with the third client...and again helping them pack their order..wouldn't it make sense to help the client with the largest order?????...so annoyed at the training of the young staff when there are so many well established employees standing around and doing Nothing!

This week I purchased Scheinders Turkey Breast Lifestyle. You store had put a sticker over the erasered date Best Before of 2012SE18. I can still see the imprint of the date of AU31. This is a felony punishable by law. Tampering with a product. Is this a practice endorsed by the manager of this store?

The Midland Superstore is deploying questionable methods for having customers signing up for a Presidents Choice Mastercard, by making promises that $40 will be refunded on the first purchase using the Credit Card....I did get 2 statements not showing any refunds. Complaining to the stores managers I got nothing but run-a-rounds and someone will give me a call. I would not have signed up to this Master Card if they would not have promised $40 refund!! Beware!

Pharmacy has the absolute worst customer service i have ever experienced. The associates will see customers waiting and will completely ignore them. No acknowledgement at all even to say i will be with you shortly. Until you address them they will make you wait as long as you are willing to. Staff turnaround is incredible, While I was there recently advising i was moving to another pharmacy another patron at the counter stating she drove in from out of town, had called ahead and still was told when she arrived to wait 20-30 minutes. I think they need to be aware that some customers will pay slightly higher prices at other locations if the service is good.

king crab legson sale last week.i went in the first day of sale .there was none in stock and no rain check given as staff stated we probably will not get it again. this product was on the front page of flyer for new year.

Now that they have finally stopped moving stuff around, this store is a great shopping experience. The store is always clean and bright. The produce is excellent, they stock an excellent selection of products and the staff are generally friendly. The garden centre staff are knowledgable too.

The produce department is the only store in midland that has a decent selection of organic fruits and vegetables. Whenever driving to nicohlyn farms is out of the option, i stop here! The natural food section is pretty wonderful as well. haha I stay away from the rest of the store though, it has a dark aura that surrounds it mostly.

The cashiers are disinterested and slow and so is the self-checkout. Efficiency here is definitely not key. Not the friendliest of places, crowded, moderate deals, moderate produce. The only thing that keeps me shopping there is the fact that the prices on products out of their control are sometimes too good to pass up

I am just retired and sort of did like your store in Midland. I like the wine outlet. But I dont like your new plastic bag system. I have no problem with a 5 cent charge each. However, you are making 500% plus profit on those bags and you let your customer put the groceries into the bag themselfs. I am not that fast as your girls and seem to hold up up the flow. The girl looks at me like I shoul;d be faster...the customer behind me the same. There is a bit of an attitude with this whole bag business. I have been made feel uneasy several times since you made this change! If you dont change this do it your self packing of the groceries, I will not buy at your store anymore. I LOVE the service at walmart and their prices! But most of all I feel free and spacious and not stupid!!!!! Some of my friends feel the same. I spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to get the Perfume dept and got put through to every other dept except that one only to finally get the manager who told me no one was in that dept that day as they called in sick and she couldnt answer my question...really come on...get someone else to go look..how shabby of a business is that !!

I was in Midland over the Summer at my family cottage and found in the cold deil meat had blue mould on the the meat and told the GM of the store and she told the clerk to cut the bad part off and put the rest back in the display case and had there stuff that out of date. Don't shop at the Super store best bet is Food Basic or Wal Mart.

Have shopped at all the other grocery stores, but this place is so well done! Clean, bright, friendly staff, well stocked, always meeting someone I know, enjoying the variety and the effort the staff puts in for me. Prices are a very good value, a very pleasant experience every week! Bravo!

I love this grocery store! It has everything. Everyone is very helpful and i found that the you-scan helps with the lineups. I was very impressed by the store and it's staff and will continue to go here. I dont shop anywhere else unless i absolutely have to.

No matter your cooking style, you'll find all the fresh ingredients you need here which is more than can be said about virtually all the rest of the grocery stores in Midland. Oh, and the woman who runs the Garden Center is a perennial favorite (pardon the pun!), who is knowledgeable, cheerful and always ready to assist you with your gardening projects.
