Hello Business Owners,

As you are most likely aware by now I have been planning for the 5^th Annual Girls Holiday Event to happen on November 18^th & 19^th Downtown Midland. Once again I’m asking for your help if you would be able to offer a shopping incentive on Saturday, November 19^th for participants AND/OR if you could donate a draw item.

To give you an idea of how it works all registrants sign up and are provided with 1 free ballot to enter for our prize draws, but in order to receive more draw ballots they must shop at stores offering incentives. For each receipt shown from participating stores offering incentives on the day of Saturday, November 19^th registrants will receive a ballot (Example: If 5 different gift receipts are presented from 5 different stores that were received on Saturday, November 19^th then that individual will be given 5 ballots in addition to their original 1 ballot to use to enter into one of our many prize draws).

I started this concept last year and it was very successfully proven that registrants want to go shop at stores offering incentives because they want to receive more draw ballots to enter to win. It’s a win-win and it highly increases the chances that registrants will shop in your place of business. Last year I had 115 registrants and some individuals spent upwards of $1,000 alone. This year I’m aiming to increase the number of registrants and draw more people downtown to shop.

Last year I had 14 prize draws donated and 26 stores participated in offering incentives and I’m hoping to increase the numbers this year as well. Some ideas for incentives are: (1) No tax! (2) 10% off store wide (3) FREE gift with a purchase over $30 (4) Buy 1 get 1 FREE (5) Giveaway to first 100 customers.
