Dear BIA member,
This email is being sent to all Downtown merchants and property owners to formally request your presence at the North Simcoe Sports & Recreation Centre at 7:00pm on both Monday and Tuesday of next week.
As many of you are aware, we are co-hosting a Meet & Greet with the potential candidates running for council and for mayor / deputy-mayor.
This will be your opportunity to learn how the candidates view the future of Downtown Midland, and other important issues such as property taxes, economic development and friendly town policy.
The first night, Monday, October 6th, will feature the candidates running for Wards 1, 2 and 3.
The second night, Tuesday, October 7th, will feature the candidates running for mayor and deputy mayor.
Both events run from 7pm until 9pm and are being held in partnership with MidlandCommunity.ca.
Roy Ellis will open, Lois Lipton will serve as the moderator, and Colin Pape will provide closing remarks.
