What do youngsters get out of YBC?

Bowling in the YBC (Youth Bowl Canada) league offers the member many benefits. Youngsters get ACTIVE with regular, moderate exercise and improve their coordination, balance and motor skills. The team dynamics of bowling also helps to improve social skills through positive interaction with peers. The concepts and importance of Sportsmanship and Fair Play are reinforced by coaches and volunteers. Bowlers also learn about setting personal goals for themselves and receive achievement awards throughout the season in recognition of personal and team accomplishments.

What does YBC offer its members?

YBC offers qualified coaching in a fun and safe environment, complete with a Rewards Program to recognize Personal and Team Achievements. Equal participation and contribution by all members, regardless of ability, is a key feature of the program and of a youngsters developing self-confidence. YBC is also a perfect opportunity to learn the ideals of sport in a non-aggressive and friendly environment, whatever the age. Four (4) age divisions ensure youngsters are teamed up with children their own age and lead to the creation of many NEW FRIENDS and lots of FUN.

How much does it cost?

The annual registration fee for YBC is $40.00 plus a small fee is paid weekly which contributes to the year-end banquet, trophies, league fun parties, tournament competition, etc.

When does YBC take place?

**We ask that parent/guardian supervision be onsite for any children under 10 years of age**

We offer league bowling for all ages and abilities seven days a week. Our leagues typically run from September to April and include tournaments, fun nights and year-end banquet with dinner & prizes.

Even if you haven't bowled before it doesn't matter, no experience necessary. We offer instruction to new bowlers and our staff are always willing to help out with technique.
