Residential
When choosing a painting contractor for your home there are many things to consider. Such as are they insured, are they going to use good quality products, are they going to properly protect your floors & personal property ect… it is imperative that you feel comfortable with the contractor & trust your home is in capable hands. Total Painting ensures that all these expectations will be met & exceeded.
Products & Procedures
Interior
On an interior painting project the prep work is the basis in achieving a finely finished project. Some of our standard practices include plastering of holes, cracks or other imperfections before & between coats to achieve a smooth flat surface, caulking of all seams around door/window frames & baseboards, among other special techniques. We use only quality Benjamin Moore products that are properly chosen for each area & application. The end results are walls free of imperfections with a uniform sheen & clean sharp cut lines, these are the main fundamentals of a “Fine” paint job.
Exterior
With exterior projects again properly preparing your substrate is the key to longevity. All surfaces should be properly prepped either by using ECO friendly chemicals, and or traditional manual methods of sanding & scraping. Caulking of crack’s & seams around doors and windows ect… achieve clean sharp cut lines & seal the areas from air leaks & moisture. If anything is rotten or decaying it will be replaced. Next is ensuring that the proper products are chosen for each application or requirement. As always we offer a free site visits to properly assess the project & will bring a product specialist if required to assist in this process in order achieve as much longevity as possible.
Total Painting is a certified applicator of all Benjamin Moore Arborcoat Stain products.
