Cancer has touched all of us. Nearly 1 in 2 Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime!
With the help of our caring community (Midland, Penetanguishene, Tay and Tiny), we raised over $107,000 last year for cancer research. Despite some issues with rain, a power outage, and lingering COVID concerns on Run Day, this was our highest donation level since 2006. We ranked eleventh highest contributing site of almost 200 similar events in Ontario.

We had an amazing turnout at our Terry Fox Day in the Heart of Georgian Bay on Sunday, September 15th! Over $90,000.00 was raised with money still coming in and our local merchants, artists, friends, and family helped us reach the unprecedented total of $10,776.00 in the Silent Auction. We are so grateful to be living in the Heart of Georgian Bay.

Last year our generous and caring community contributed over $76,000 to life-saving cancer research. With your continued support, in 2018 our community will have given over $2,000,000 to the Terry Fox Foundation since our first Run in 1983. This Run demonstrates the Heart of Georgian Bay like no other charitable event.
