Sunnylea Resort was absolutely beautiful. The grounds were very well maintained. The pool, playground, beach and sandbox for the kids were nothing but ideal. We have bounced around the cottages over the last 5 consecutive years. After reading the previous comments I would just like to say not once, have we had crusty dishes, and our cottage has always been clean, warm and comfortable. Our floors have never been rotten and we have stayed in most styles of their cottages. The managers/owners are very nice, kind people. They are very helpful and accomodating. I will continue to go to Sunnylea Resort as my family and I have had nothing but great experiences there, inside and out of the cottages. Their location is prime, as we felt out of the city enough, but everything was within a 20 minute drive.

We've been renting cottages every summer for 10 years and this is by far the worst experience ever. First we get there and they've lost our reservation and gave our cottage away to someone else after booking 6 months prior. Then the rest of our family shows up and everyone's cottage including ours has crusty dirty dishes. One of the cottages had mold and rotted floors, and all of them were pretty run down, and the owner was very rude and told us we were not to worry about it since we're not invited anymore after we complained of some of these issues....wow is all i have to say, absolutely no customer concerns or any attempt at customer retention

These people were very very rude and are exaggerating big time - they were so bad we did tell them not to come back as they were even rude to other guests. Our cottages are cleaned by professional cleaners and one in this group even thanked me for having such a clean cottage as she was concerned about her young son being able to crawl on the floors. Please don't believe her review. 50-60% of our customers are repeat as they love it here so much.
