The Paisley Ladies are two twenty-something gals who love art, crafts and everything handmade! Even since we were little baby paisleys, we’ve always been interested in making something special from scratch. From sewing, to beading, to stenciling, to baking, we appreciate the homespun and beautiful things in life.
When it came time for these girls to move away to school, we both ended up in the fine city of Guelph, living in a cozy apartment on Paisley Street. As fine arts students, we tried it all: drawing, sculpture, painting and video, but in the end it seems we both found our way back to handmade craft. We rediscovered beading, sewing and the rewarding feeling of creating something beautiful, using lots of time, care and glitter! Now that the university days are over, we’re still transfixed and impassioned with making beautiful objects by hand.
