A definite highlight over the past year Marlon has played for us was New Year's Eve when his 4-piece band kept the place going until the wee hours of the morning!

So when my stories were ripe for telling, it was easy to choose Marlon Gibbons Music and Media to help me record the stories and cradle them with his original music compositions . I am thrilled with the result! We are moments away from releasing Pandora's Daughters, a CD collection of women's stories of hope. So, not only is Marlon Gibbons' music a source of inspiration, Marlon is a pleasure to do business with.

I recently held a milestone birthday day party for my husband and sister. Marlon was recommended and after receiving a sample play list from him I knew it would be a great fit. I had my choice of the number of band members I wanted and the number of hours I wanted them to play so he is able to work with different budgets. I requested he play a special song that was my husband’s favourite and that was not a problem. The day of the party we moved location due to the threat of bad weather … again no problem. They worked with us in making announcements and providing music between sets. With a great mix of music he catered to the many ages at the party and everyone I spoke to commented on what a fun evening it was. Thank you to Marlon and the band for making Erin and Allan’s birthdays a memorable event.

Although the day was damp, Marlon’s playing prevented our spirits from being dampened. Marlon is a very talented musician with a very large repertoire of songs. We found his style and choice of music pleasing to the ear. Marlon played music from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, right up to the present. He entrained our very wet boaters for 3 hours. Several of our patrons asked for Marlons’s business cards in order to hire him for their own events.

Would we hire Marlon again…ABSOLUTELY!!! It was a pleasure to have not only a talented musician and entertainer but an incredibly gracious young.
