Join host Fred Hacker for an intimate conversation with Midland native, Lieutenant Nancy Setchell. Nancy is the youngest daughter of Midland's own, Barb Nicholls and the late Glenn "Red" Nicholls. Nancy joined the RCN in 1995 and has risen through the ranks to her current senior officer position. She was deployed to the Gulf of Oman to fight global terrorism following 9/11. She has trained as an Operations Room Officer and was Weapons Officers aboard the HMCS TORONTO. She served in the Maritime Forces Atlantic Headquarters and was chosen for the Joint Command and Staff Program at the Canadian Forces College. She has earned her Master's Degree in Defence Studies and is currently Executive Officer (second- in-command) of HMCS MONTREAL.
