My rescue dog Smokey has quite a few "issues". None of which were of his own causing. Everyone at Covered Bridge Kennel has gone above and beyond in giving Smokey the best care. He enjoys his visits and for the first time since I adopted him; I don't worry when I leave him. Whether it's day care or over night stays. I would highly recommend this boarding kennel to everyone and, as a matter of fact I do just that.
Covered bridge has taken care of all of our family members. Chowling, Sunny and now Scout. They are caring, compassionate, professional and have extreme customer service. I recommend to anyone who needs this service to chose Covered bridge. They were like a second family to my last dog Scout. When I dropped him off he would run and smile and it warmed my heart to know how much he loved being there. There were certain staff that were his favorite too. Not to mention any names "Kim"!!!!!!!! Kim cared so much she cried with me when Scout left us for heaven. Now that is the kind of caring you don't find anywhere. Thank you Anita, Brian, Kim and everyone else for everything.
Highly recommend Covered Bridge. Our puppy has been boarded there several times and the care for her was outstanding. Love the grooming service. Bonnie is so happy to go see her doggie friends that she doesn’t even bother to look back at us when we are dropping her off at Covered Bridge. Thanks staff!!
We recently brought our dog Aala to covered bridges for the second time. Everyone was so welcoming when we got there, Aala didn't even give me a second look ! On the day we were due to pick her up, we were running late and they were so accommodating about keeping her an extra night ! She came home tired and happy which means she had lots of fun playing with the other dogs ! I will most certainly be bringing her back ! It is very clean with tons of room for dogs to run around. You can tell they love dogs and treat them as though they were their own! Thank you covered bridge !
Roxane, it was a pleasure looking after Aala again. She is a wonderful dog. We and our staff do our best to make sure that all of the dogs enjoy themselves and that they have a clean, comfortable environment to stay in. We look forward to seeing her again.
I have taken my puppies to the Covered Bridge Boarding kennell for years. I have never been happier with the new owners Brian and Anita. They are truly professional and courteous and I would not trust anyone else with my dogs. Chowling spent only a short time with Brian and Anita and then passed away. The kennel sent me a personalized note and a beautiful picture of my baby while he was there. They also posted his picture on their website and I was honored. I adopted a rescue dog and had serious reservations about boarding him. Covered bridge boarding kennel staff helped him and made it home for him. They also helped me with the guilt of leaving him behind when I go away. I can travel and know that my special friend Sunny is safe, happy, and loving his play time with his friends.
Tanya, thank you for your kind words. We will always remember Chowling. Sunny is a great dog too. He adapted really well to his strange surroundings during his last visits, especially considering that he was adjusting to his new home and new 'mom and dad' too. He has a nice temperament and is very social. We are looking forward to having him back as a regular visitor.
Wellington, my 7 year old lab has been going to Covered Bridge for several years now. On every visit he cannot wait to get out of the car and run to whoever greats him. Wellington doesn't even give me a second look. He loves running and playing with the other dogs and I never worry when he is there because I know the owners Brian & Anita and the staff are keeping him happy and safe. I highly recommended Covered Bridge to anyone but especially to those who may feel guilty about leaving their "Best Friend" behind while on business or vacation.
Thanks for your comments Susan. You are quite right when you say that he loves to come here. He is a pleasure to board and quite comical at times. It is nice to know that he is enjoying himself while he is here. We all get a kick out of listening to him barking and carryiing on in the car, as you come up the driveway.
I was in Barrie over the Christmas Holidays and boarded my Poodle "Sammi" at Covered Bridge. I was very nervous because Sammi had never boarded before. The owners went out of their way to accomodate Sammi and her special needs (she is diabetic). When I picked Sammi up she was happy and well. I have even noticed that she is no longer so timid around other dogs which I am sure is because of the socialization she received at Covered Bridge. This is a top notch kennel that I would highly reccommend.
Joy, Thanks for taking the time to review or facility. It was a pleasure having Sammi stay with us. She settled in really well especially after her long plane ride. We would love to see her again if you make it back out this way again.
