Toronto All Star Big Band Dinner/Dance/Silent Auction- Friday, Aug. 19th
A Midland favourite. This group “cooks" with its powerful tributes to the heady hits of the 1930's and 40's. A youthful and vibrant presentation of big band dance tunes and ballads with lots of brass and shenanigans. Bar opens at 5pm, Dinner at 5:30 and Performance at 7pm, at the Midland Golf & Country Club Tickets $80 plus hst/sc

Brookside Music Association presents
Chopin
by Candlelight
Relax at an intimate, candlelit table while listening to the
romantic genius of Frédéric Chopin's Preludes, Waltzes, Mazurkas,
Nocturnes and Polonaises beautifully presented by
Brookside's own Founding Artistic Director, John Alden French.

Join us for a presentation by The Shining Water Drummers & Kiiwedin Dance Troupe this Wednesday, August 18th from 7:30-8:30pm!
A spiritual tribute to First Nations Culture as performed for centuries. This promises to be a colourful and spectacular performance in traditional regalia.

It's been proven time and time again that dogs are calmed by classical music.
Broadway violinist Martin Agee volunteers at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
There he takes out his violin and plays the music of Bach, Mozart and more to calm and reassure the abused and rescued animals.
