NATIONAL PUMPKIN DAY We recognize a favored autumn decoration and food on October 26th that is used in a variety of recipes, competitions, and festivals. It's National Pumpkin Day! Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie. ~ Jim Davis . By October 26th, we in a frenzy of pumpkin obsession. We need pumpkin everything! Spring Is Here! March is a notoriously fickle month for weather, but one thing that always comes, rain or shine, is the first day of spring - even if it doesn't fee like it.
