This week is National Volunteer Week and we would like to thank all the volunteers we have worked with over the past year. Volunteering has allowed us the opportunity to meet so many people and be a small part in their lives. And in turn, they teach us invaluable lessons while sharing their stories and experiences with us. Thank you all volunteers for all that you do!

It's that time of year when ladies are out dress shopping for the upcoming weddings of the season. The final tally is in and we netted $19 000 for Community Living Huronia Foundation at our 15th annual spring fashion show, with music inspired by Bon Jovi! This could not be done without the support of sponsors, event partners, prize donors, and an army of volunteers! Thank you to each and every person who gave their time and money to make this a successful event and to support CLH!

Congratulations to all the nominees last night at the Meridian Credit Union's Business Women of the Year Awards and following recipients: Jennifer King of Ice Art for Entrepreneur of the Year, Jill St. Amant for Heart and Soul of the Community and to Kathy Kowalsky of Bamboo Spa for Business Woman of the Year! It was a terrific evening and so great to hear how much all the ladies do in our area!

We had volunteers organize down to the last detail, the people Community Living Huronia supports, model with flare and style, the St. T's students touch us with their beautiful dancing, and the models strutting the catwalk.
