The Library Restaurant Welcomes Jim Garraway as the new Executive Chef
Geoffrey Crompton, owner of The
Library Restaurant in Midland, Ontario, is pleased to announce the appointment
of world-class culinary Chef Jim Garraway as the new Executive Chef.
During his 20 years in the Culinary Industry, Jim trained at the world renowned
Chateau Whistler under Master Chef Bernard Casavant. He then left Whistler
for Vancouver Island and was the Chef de Cuisine at the Wickaninnish Inn in
Tofino before returning to Barrie. He was Executive Chef at Painter's Hall in
Barrie and previously owner of Garraway's Bistro. His vast knowledge allowed
him to secure a position as a Teacher for Georgian College in the Culinary Arts
Program.
