Cynthia Blair is a graduate of the textile design program at Georgian College. Initially, she began her career painting on silk with french dyes, creating one-of-a-kind designs. She has continued to develop her skills by taking courses and workshops and enjoys experimenting with different techniques and concepts.

During the last few years, she has applied her energy to painting with encaustic, oil and acrylic on canvas, as well as encaustic primarily florals and landscapes that capture the light within and around the subject.

Cynthia has exhibited at the Toronto Queen West Art Crawl, the Toronto Indoor Art Expo, and shows her work in numerous local shows and galleries. She accepts and welcomes commissions.
